Kinder Emergency Shelter Medical Services
Typically, within 48 hours of arriving at the shelter, all youth receive a health screening at the Harris County Protective Serviced for Children and Adults Medical/Dental Clinic. Registered nurses are on staff at the Clinic to provide subsequent minor emergency medical care, if needed.
